Holland is a small city in Pipestone County, Minnesota. It's located along the Rock River. The city is about eight miles from Pipestone. In 2020, about 178 people lived there.

History of Holland
Holland was started in 1888. Many of the first people who settled here came from Holland (a region in the Netherlands). That's why the city was named Holland. A post office opened in Holland in 1889. Holland officially became a city in 1898.
Geography and Location
Holland covers a total area of about 0.93 square miles (2.41 square kilometers). All of this area is land. Minnesota State Highway 23 is an important road that goes through the city.
