Holly Brisley is an Australian actress and TV presenter. She was born on January 11, 1978. She started her career when she was 16 years old. This was on the children's TV show Agro's Cartoon Connection (1994–1997). Later, she played Amanda Vale-Baker on the popular show Home and Away (2005–2009). She also had important roles in films like Garage Days (2001) and The Crop (2004).

Early Life and Growing Up
Holly Brisley was born in Adelaide, South Australia. Her family moved to the Gold Coast when she was very young. As she grew up, Holly was very good at speech and drama. She joined the Paradise Performer's Dance Academy. There, she took classes in jazz, ballet, and tap dancing. She also took part in many competitions and won several awards.
Starting Her Acting Career
By the age of 13, Holly Brisley was working with the Studio Search Agency. Her first acting jobs were in Australian TV movies. These included The Flood: Who Will Save Our Children? in 1993 and Official Denial in 1994.
Becoming a TV Star
Holly became well-known in 1994. This was when she joined the children's TV show Agro's Cartoon Connection. This show even won a Logie Award. Later, she hosted The Looney Tunes Show. She also hosted World's Craziest Videos. She worked on various shows for Foxtel.
Film Roles and TV Appearances
Holly kept acting in movies during this time. Some of her notable roles were in Garage Days and The Crop. She also appeared in Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure.
In 2005, Holly was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. After that, she got a regular role on the soap opera Home and Away. She played the character Amanda Vale. Personal Life
Holly Brisley got engaged to Paul Ford in Venice in 2005. Paul is a marketing executive. They got married on February 11, 2006, in Manly, Sydney. Their wedding was at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel. This chapel is on the grounds of St Patrick's Seminary and looks out over the ocean.
Holly and Paul have two children. Their son was born on July 16, 2009. Their daughter was born on July 20, 2012.
Holly Brisley has coeliac disease. This is a condition where you cannot eat gluten. She was on the cover of "The Australian Coeliac" magazine in September 2005.
In July 2010, Holly climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. This was for a charity walk. She raised $50,000 for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. This foundation helps sick children. She had a serious health issue during the climb. She got pulmonary edema because of the high altitude. But she is now in good health.
Awards and Recognition
On June 1, 2005, Holly Brisley won a Film Award. This was for 'Best Actress – Feature Film'. She received it at the New York Film & Video Festival. She won for her role as "Geraldine" in the Australian film The Crop. The film also won 'Best International Feature'.
