Humphery is a small country area in Queensland, Australia. It's part of the North Burnett Region. In 2021, only 24 people lived there, making it a very quiet place.

About Humphery's Location
The Burnett River is an important natural feature in Humphery. It flows along the south-western and southern edges of the area. Then, it goes through Humphery and forms part of its eastern border. Another stream, Aranbanga Creek, also helps form the southern border before joining the Burnett River.
Inside Humphery, there's a small area called Boomerang.
Old Railway Lines
A railway line, called the Mungar-to-Monto line, runs through Humphery. It generally follows the northern side of the Burnett River. The line enters from the east (near Dirnbir) and leaves towards the north-west (near Philpott).
There used to be two train stations in Humphery, but they are no longer used:

- Boomerang railway station
A Look Back at History
The name "Boomerang" comes from a very large old farm. This farm was about 16,000 acres (which is about 6,475 hectares). It was located about 10 miles (16 kilometers) from the town of Gayndah. In 1853, a person named Edmund L. Smee owned this farm.
