The Icon Brickell complex is a huge group of buildings in Miami, Florida, United States. It's located right by the Miami River in the northern part of Downtown's Brickell Financial District. This complex has three amazing skyscrapers and a special area called the Icon Brickell Plaza. The plaza connects the towers at their base.
The first two towers are called the Icon Brickell North Tower and Icon Brickell South Tower. They are like twin buildings. Each one stands 586 feet (179 m) tall and has 58 floors. The third building is the W Hotel Tower. It is 500 feet (150 m) tall and has 50 floors. The whole complex is on the east side of Brickell Avenue. It sits between Southeast 5th and 6th Streets. The famous architecture company Arquitectonica designed these buildings. The interior design was done by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox's design company.
Meet the Twin Towers
The Icon Brickell South Tower is right next to its twin, the Icon Brickell North Tower. They are both the same height and have the same number of floors. Even though they are twins, the North Tower has a slightly different shape. These towers are mostly home to apartments.
Discover the W Miami Hotel
The W Miami (which used to be called Viceroy Miami) is the third big building in the Icon Brickell Complex. Just like the twin towers, the W Miami was designed by Arquitectonica. But unlike the twin towers, the W Miami is a bit shorter. It's special because it has both apartments and a hotel inside. Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. manages the W Miami.
One of the coolest spots in the W Miami is the "Whisper Lounge". This lounge is on the 50th floor rooftop. It has a swimming pool and offers amazing views. You can see all of downtown Miami, Key Biscayne, and South Miami Beach from up there!
