Early Competitions
In 2015, Imani-Lara competed in the European Junior Championships. She finished fifth in the 100 metres final. But she didn't stop there! She also helped her team win a gold medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay race.
The next year, at the 2016 World U20 Championships, she ran even faster. Her time of 11.17 seconds made her the second-fastest British under-20 runner ever. She finished fourth in the 100 metres final at this event. In 2017, she again placed fourth in the 100 metres at the European U23 Championships.
