Ingleside is a suburb located in Northern Sydney, Australia. It is about 28 kilometers north of the main Sydney central business district. Ingleside is part of the Northern Beaches Council area.
This suburb is also close to the coast, only about 2 kilometers from Mona Vale. Ingleside has a mix of country-style properties and natural bushland. More houses are being built here as the area grows.

The Story of Ingleside
Ingleside gets its name from a big house called Ingleside House. This house was built in the 1880s. It belonged to a person named Baron Von Beirenm. He was a chemist who worked with chemicals to make things like gunpowder.
Baron Von Beirenm started a factory in the area. This factory made gunpowder and other materials. The road called Powder Works Road is named after this old factory.

- The Smoky Dawson Ranch used to be the home of a very popular Australian country music singer named Smoky Dawson. Today, the ranch has been sold to the HASG Armenian School. In 2002, the school put up a special gate that looks like the old ranch gate. It's now a place many tourists like to visit.
- DoggieRescue.com is an animal shelter in Ingleside. It was started by Monika Biernacki. This shelter helps rescue dogs and finds new homes for them.
