Ironton is a small city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, in the United States. In 2010, about 572 people lived there. It is part of the larger Brainerd area.
Ironton gets its name from the Cuyuna iron range. This area was important for mining iron. Ironton is right next to its "twin city" of Crosby.

Ironton was officially planned out in September 1910. It became an official city in June 1911. A post office was also set up in Ironton in 1910.
