Isaiah Firebrace (born November 21, 1999) is a talented Australian singer. He became famous after winning the eighth season of The X Factor Australia in 2016. After his big win, he represented Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with his song "Don't Come Easy". He finished in 9th place in this international music competition.

Early Life and Music Start
Isaiah Firebrace was born in Portland, Victoria. He grew up in Moama, New South Wales, as one of twelve children. Isaiah is an Aboriginal Australian. His father is from the Yorta Yorta people, and his mother is from the Gunditjmara people.
Isaiah first got noticed when he joined the Fast Track Singing Competition in Melbourne. This led to him getting a special scholarship. He then studied singing at the David Jaanz School of Singing.

Winning The X Factor in 2016
Isaiah auditioned for The X Factor Australia by singing Adele's famous song "Hello". He made it through to the Bootcamp stage. There, he performed "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys. Isaiah kept impressing the judges and viewers. He made it all the way to the Grand Final.
On November 21, 2016, Isaiah performed two songs at the Grand Final. He sang "Wake Me Up" with fellow singer Jessica Mauboy. He also sang his own winner's song, "It's Gotta Be You". Isaiah won the competition that night! His winner's song became very popular. It reached number 26 on the Australian music charts. It also charted in other countries like Denmark, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Sweden.
Soon after winning, on December 9, 2016, Isaiah released his first album. It was simply called Isaiah. This album reached number 12 on the Australian Albums Chart.
Representing Australia at Eurovision in 2017

After his X Factor win, Isaiah said he wanted to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest. This is a huge international music competition. On March 7, 2017, the Australian TV channel SBS announced that Isaiah would represent Australia. He sang the song "Don't Come Easy". This song was written by the same team who wrote Dami Im's successful Eurovision song.
Isaiah performed in the first semi-final on May 9, 2017. He did well and qualified for the Grand Final. In the final on May 13, he finished in a strong 9th place.
Later Projects and New Music
In 2019, Isaiah went on a big tour called 'Spirit and Beyond'. He visited 55 places across central and regional Australia. During this tour, he made sure to talk to many Aboriginal school children. He shared important messages about working hard and finding your passion.
Isaiah also sang the Australian National Anthem at a greyhound race event in 2019.
In July 2020, Isaiah released a new song called "Know Me Better". He said this song was special to him. He felt like he was finally understanding himself better. He also announced he was writing a children's book. The book is called "The Purple Platypus". It shares a positive message for kids who feel different.
In August 2020, Isaiah appeared on The Masked Singer Australia. He was disguised as the "Wizard". He was the sixth contestant to be unmasked, finishing in 7th place.
In 2022, Isaiah tried again to represent Australia at Eurovision. He joined the Eurovision - Australia Decides competition. He sang a duet called "When I'm With You" with singer Evie Irie. They finished in 10th place.
In September 2022, Isaiah released a song called "Come Together". He sang it with Lee Kernaghan and Mitch Tambo. This song was released at the same time as Isaiah's new children's book. The book is also called Come Together. It was published on November 16, 2022. The book was even nominated for a special award in 2023.
In November 2022, Isaiah released his own Christmas song. It was called "First Christmas".
