Jack Creek is a small stream located in Nipissing District, in the northeastern part of Ontario, Canada. It flows through the beautiful Algonquin Provincial Park. This creek is a tributary, which means it's a smaller stream that flows into a larger one. Jack Creek flows into the North Madawaska River. All its water eventually makes its way to the huge Saint Lawrence River, which flows out to the Atlantic Ocean.

Journey of Jack Creek

Jack Creek starts its journey at Jack Lake. From there, it flows towards the east. The creek then goes under Ontario Highway 60.

Flowing into Mew Lake

After passing under the highway, Jack Creek flows into the southwest side of Mew Lake. This lake is a popular spot in the park. The creek then leaves Mew Lake from its northwest side.

Reaching the North Madawaska River

Jack Creek flows north again, once more passing under Highway 60. It then turns east. Finally, it reaches its end, flowing into the North Madawaska River. The North Madawaska River then joins the Madawaska River. This larger river eventually flows into the Ottawa River, and then into the Saint Lawrence River.
