Jacob Batalon, born on October 9, 1996, is an actor from America. He is best known for playing Ned Leeds, Peter Parker's best friend, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Spider-Man movies. These include Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). He also had small appearances in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Jacob Batalon has also acted in other films like Let It Snow (2019) and the TV show Reginald the Vampire (2022–2024).

Early Life and Education
Jacob Batalon was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents, Billy Batalon and Vangie Andres, moved there from Pangasinan, Philippines. Jacob has seven half-siblings. His mother often went with him to his auditions.
Jacob went to St. Anthony's School and then Damien Memorial School. He studied music theory at Kapiʻolani Community College, but he left before finishing. Later, he joined a two-year acting program at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.

Becoming Ned Leeds in Spider-Man
His first big role was playing Ned Leeds in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). Ned is the best friend of Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man. Jacob played this role again in several other Marvel movies. These include Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). He also appeared as Ned in the web series The Daily Bugle.
Other Notable Roles
In 2018, Jacob was in the movie Every Day. He played a character named James. In 2019, he played Keon in the Netflix movie Let It Snow.
Jacob also starred as the main character, Reginald, in the Syfy TV series Reginald the Vampire. This show ran from 2022 to 2024. For his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jacob worked hard and lost a lot of weight.
