Jake Humphrey (born October 7, 1978) is a well-known English television presenter. He is famous for hosting many sports shows. These include Champions League football on BT Sport. He also presented Bamzooki on CBBC. Another big role was covering Formula 1 Grand Prix for BBC Sport.

Early Life and Beginnings
Where Jake Grew Up
Jake Humphrey was born in Peterborough, England. This was on October 7, 1978. When he was nine, his family moved to Norwich, Norfolk. His father was a chief executive for a charity called Age Concern Norfolk.
Starting His TV Journey
Jake got his first taste of television at ITV Anglia. This was a work experience job. He then started presenting shows for CBBC in 2001. CBBC is the BBC channel for children.
Jake's Career in Sports TV
Big Sports Events
Jake Humphrey became a familiar face in sports broadcasting. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, he presented daytime coverage for the BBC. In the same year, he began hosting the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards. He continued this role until 2011.
In 2009, Jake became the main presenter for the BBC's Formula 1 coverage. He also helped present the 2010 Commonwealth Games for the BBC. For the 2012 London Olympics, Jake presented live from the velodrome. He also hosted the evening coverage on BBC Three.
Moving to BT Sport
Jake left the BBC in 2012. He joined BT Sport, a new sports channel. From the 2013–14 football season, he hosted live coverage of the Premier League. Later, he also presented FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, and UEFA Europa League games. Jake left BT Sport in 2023.
Other Presenting Roles
Jake Humphrey also hosted other special events. He briefly covered the 2011 Royal Wedding. He was reporting from a 66-year-old Lancaster bomber. However, his audio had technical problems, and he was cut off.

Jake married Harriet, a production manager, in August 2007. They have two children together.
Hobbies and Recognition
Jake is a big fan of the football team Norwich City. He also received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of East Anglia. This special award was given to him in July 2012.
