The community is made up of two main parts:

  • The hamlet of Jefferson Valley is in the northeast. It's located along U.S. Route 6.
  • The hamlet of Yorktown is in the south. It's where New York State Route 132 (Old Yorktown Road) meets U.S. Route 202 and State Route 35 (Crompond Road).

Borders and Size

The Taconic Parkway forms the western edge of the community. The town line of Somers is on the eastern side. The northern border follows the line between Westchester and Putnam County.
