Early Life and First Steps

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson grew up in Miami, Florida. When she was 16, she moved to Los Angeles. She even made it to the final auditions for a role in the TV show Hannah Montana. After trying acting and working in the fashion world in New York and Los Angeles, Jennifer decided to focus on writing stories.

Creative Career

Jennifer Robinson created and produced the MTV show Sweet/Vicious, which started in 2016. This show was a dark comedy about two college students. They became secret helpers, standing up for other students who had been treated unfairly. The show was praised by critics for how it mixed superhero ideas with serious topics. Variety magazine even called Sweet/Vicious one of the best new shows of 2016. A comic book based on the show was announced in 2018.

In 2018, Jennifer announced she would direct her first full-length movie for Netflix. This film was called Someone Great.
