Camila Carraro Mendes (born June 29, 1994) is an American actress. She became well-known for playing Veronica Lodge in the TV show Riverdale. This show was very popular with teens and ran from 2017 to 2023. For her role, Camila won a Teen Choice Award in 2017.

After Riverdale, Camila started acting in movies. She had roles in films like The New Romantic (2018), The Perfect Date (2019), and Palm Springs (2020). More recently, she has played main characters in movies such as the comedy Do Revenge (2022), and the romantic comedies Upgraded (2024) and Música (2024). She also helped produce the last two films.

Early Life and Education

Camila Mendes was born on June 29, 1994, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Her parents are from Brazil. Her father worked in business, and her mother was a flight attendant. Camila also has an older sister.

Because of her father's job and later her parents' divorce, Camila moved many times while growing up. She lived in 16 different places, but mostly in Florida. When she was 10 years old, she lived in Brazil for one year.

Camila went to the Fine Arts program at the American Heritage School in Florida. She finished school there in 2012. In May 2016, Camila graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied acting.
