Brittany Anne Snow (born March 9, 1986) is an American actress and singer. She is known for her roles in popular TV shows and movies. Brittany won a Young Artist Award for her work in the TV show Guiding Light (1998–2001). She also starred in the drama series American Dreams (2002–2005).
Brittany has been in many films, like The Pacifier (2005), John Tucker Must Die (2006), and Hairspray (2007). She is also well-known for her role in the Pitch Perfect movie series (2012–2017). In 2023, she directed her first movie, Parachute.
Besides acting, Brittany is a co-founder of the Love Is Louder movement. This project helps stop bullying and supports mental health.

Brittany Anne Snow was born on March 9, 1986, in Tampa, Florida. Her parents are Cinda and John Snow. She has an older brother and sister. Brittany went to Gaither High School in Tampa.
Early Acting Roles
Brittany started modeling when she was just three years old. Her first big acting role was on the TV show Guiding Light. She played a character named Susan "Daisy" Lemay for three years. Later, she played Meg Pryor in the TV drama American Dreams. She also appeared in the TV show Nip/Tuck.
Brittany showed her singing talent by performing backup vocals for a song on the American Dreams soundtrack.
Movies and Voice Acting
In 2005, Brittany starred in the family comedy film The Pacifier with Vin Diesel. The next year, she was in the teen romantic comedy John Tucker Must Die. This movie was very popular and earned a lot of money.
Brittany also used her voice for characters in video games and animated films. She voiced Naminé in the video game Kingdom Hearts II. She also voiced Shizuku Tsukishima in the Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart.
Musicals and Thrillers
In 2007, Brittany appeared in the movie Hairspray. This film was based on a popular Broadway musical. She played Amber Von Tussle and sang several songs in the movie. She had worked with the director, Adam Shankman, before on The Pacifier.
Brittany then took on a lead role in the slasher film Prom Night (2008). She also appeared in an episode of Gossip Girl. From 2011 to 2012, she was a regular cast member on the TV show Harry's Law. She also starred in the thriller film 96 Minutes (2011).
The Pitch Perfect Series
In 2012, Brittany starred as Chloe, an a cappella singer, in the musical comedy film Pitch Perfect. She returned for the sequels, Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) and Pitch Perfect 3 (2017). The Pitch Perfect movies were very successful and loved by many fans. Pitch Perfect 2 became the highest-grossing music comedy film ever at the time.
Recent Projects
Brittany played Blair Helms in the Netflix romantic comedy film Someone Great (2019). She also starred in the horror film X (2022).
In March 2023, Brittany made her first movie as a director, called Parachute. It premiered at the SXSW festival. She also appeared in the short film Red, White and Blue (2023), which was nominated for an Academy Award.
Helping Others
Brittany Snow cares a lot about helping others. She supports many charities. These include groups like Feeding America, Habitat For Humanity, and the Red Cross.
She has also worked with The Heart Truth campaign. This campaign helps women learn about the risk of heart disease. Brittany also supported Soles4Souls, which gives shoes to people in need around the world.
Love Is Louder Movement
Brittany is the co-creator of the Love Is Louder movement. This project is part of the Jed Foundation, a non-profit organization. Love Is Louder helps people deal with issues like bullying, body image, and depression. Thousands of schools and communities use Love Is Louder's programs to create a more supportive environment.
