His Interesting Ideas

Jerome de Salis had some unique thoughts. In a letter from 1830, he wrote about possibly moving to Madeira for the winter. He also mentioned a vision he had in 1815. In this vision, he thought that if people started using flying machines for military operations, it would be a sign of big changes to come.

He was also a friend of Samuel Wix, a religious leader. Jerome de Salis even paid to have one of Wix's books translated into different languages. This book was about trying to bring different Christian churches closer together.
