Jerry Mack (born October 24, 1980) is an American college football coach. He is currently the head football coach for the Kennesaw State University team.
Before joining Kennesaw State, Mack was the head coach at North Carolina Central University from 2014 to 2017. He also worked as an offensive coordinator and associate head coach at Rice University. As a player, Mack played college football as a wide receiver for the Jackson State Tigers and the Arkansas State Indians.

Coaching Journey
Jerry Mack has had a long and successful career coaching football teams. He has worked with many different teams and helped players improve their skills.
Early Coaching Steps
Mack started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Delta State University from 2004 to 2005. He helped with running backs, special teams, and video analysis.
After that, he coached wide receivers and tight ends for Jackson State University in 2006 and 2007.
Central Arkansas and Arkansas–Pine Bluff
From 2008 to 2009, Mack worked at Central Arkansas University. He was the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach.
In 2010, he became the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Arkansas–Pine Bluff. He helped their offense become much better, moving from 101st to 30th in the nation.
Coaching in Memphis and South Alabama
In 2011, Mack returned to his hometown to coach wide receivers for the Memphis Tigers.
He then coached wide receivers for the South Alabama Jaguars in 2012 and 2013.
Leading North Carolina Central
From 2014 to 2017, Jerry Mack was the head coach for the North Carolina Central Eagles. During his four seasons, he led the Eagles to the 2016 Celebration Bowl. His team had a great record of 31 wins and 15 losses.
He was one of the youngest head coaches at the FBS/FCS level at that time. In 2016, he was named the HBCU Football Coach of the Year. This was because NCCU set a new school record for offense.
Time at Rice University
On December 12, 2017, Mack became the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Rice University. In 2019, he also became the associate head coach. He stayed with Rice until the end of the 2020 season.
Coaching Running Backs
In 2021, Mack joined the University of Tennessee as the running backs coach. He helped develop the team's running game.
In 2024, he moved to the professional level, becoming the running back coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL.
Kennesaw State University Head Coach
On December 1, 2024, Jerry Mack was named the head coach for the Kennesaw State Owls football team. They play in the Conference USA.
