Jessica Oyelowo (born Jessica Watson in 1978) is a talented British-American actress and singer. She is known for her roles in various TV shows and movies.

Early Life and Beginnings
Jessica Watson was born in Ipswich, England, and grew up in Suffolk. She went to Woodbridge School when she was younger. She was also part of the National Youth Music Theatre, which helps young people learn about music and acting.
Her Acting Career
Jessica Oyelowo has had many interesting roles throughout her career. In 2006, she played Detective Sergeant Alex Jones in a TV series called Mayo. The next year, in 2007, she appeared in Murphy's Law with actor James Nesbitt.
She also used her voice for a radio play called Grace Unshackled – The Olaudah Equiano Story. In this play, she voiced Mrs. Equiano, while her husband, David Oyelowo, voiced Olaudah Equiano. This play was based on a real story from 1789.
Personal Life and Family
Jessica Oyelowo lives in Tarzana, California, in the United States. She is married to the well-known actor David Oyelowo. They met while they were both studying at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in London. They have four children together. Before moving to the US, they lived in Brighton, England.
Both Jessica and David Oyelowo are Christians. In 2016, they both became naturalised US citizens, which means they officially became citizens of the United States.
Because her husband is from the Yoruba tribe and is a prince, Jessica Oyelowo is entitled to be called Olori. This is a special title for a princess by marriage. However, she does not currently use this title.
