Jhon Jairo Rivera Valencia (born February 23, 1972) is a famous Colombian singer, actor, and businessman. He is best known by his stage name, Jhonny Rivera. He sings Colombian popular music, which is a style enjoyed by many people in Colombia.

Jhonny Rivera started his music career because of a personal challenge. He wrote his first song, "The Pain of A Game," after a difficult time. This song helped him begin his journey in music.

After that, he released other popular songs like "I'm Single" and "Best Sólito." These songs helped him become well-known in his region. He even won an award called Premios Nuestra Tierra for Best Tropical Song.

Jhonny Rivera has traveled a lot for his music. He has done more than twelve tours, visiting countries like Spain, Ecuador, United States, Venezuela, and Aruba.

Jhon Jairo Rivera Valencia was born in Pereira, Colombia. His parents are Maria Mabel Valencia and Jose Oscar Rivera. He has three siblings: Juliet, Luz Piedad, and Oscar Mario.

When he was 17, Jhonny moved from his village in Arabia, Pereira, to Bogota. He faced some tough times there, trying to find work. Eventually, he returned to his home in Pereira. It was there that he found the chance to write and record a song that led him to success.

His son, Andy Rivera, also became a singer. Andy sings in the urban music style. Jhonny has built his own home, which includes horses and other luxuries.
