Jhon Jairo Rivera Valencia (born February 23, 1972), known to many as Jhonny Rivera, is a famous singer from Colombia. He also works as an actor and a businessman. He is well-known for his popular Colombian music.

Jhonny Rivera started his music career because of a broken heart. His first song was "The Pain of A Game." After that, he released other songs like "I'm Single" and "Best Sólito." Jhon Jairo Rivera Valencia was born in Pereira, Colombia. His parents are Maria Mabel Valencia and Jose Oscar Rivera. He has three siblings: Juliet, Luz Piedad, and Oscar Mario.

When he was 17, he moved from his village in Arabia, Pereira, to Bogota. Life was tough for him there, and he struggled to find a steady job. He lived with his girlfriend, and they had a son together. Later, his girlfriend moved to Spain, and his son followed.

Jhonny Rivera eventually returned to his home in Pereira. There, he found the chance to write and record a song. This song helped him start his successful music career. His son, Andy Rivera, also returned from Spain. Andy followed in his father's footsteps as a singer, focusing on urban music. Jhonny Rivera has built his own home, which includes horses and other luxuries.
