Jocelyn Rae (born 20 February 1991) is a British former tennis player. She was known for her skills in doubles tennis.

Jocelyn reached a high ranking of 67 in doubles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). This happened on 22 February 2016. During her career, she won one singles title and 23 doubles titles. These wins were on the ITF Women's Circuit.

She won a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. She teamed up with Colin Fleming in the mixed doubles event. Jocelyn played for Scotland because her father was born in Stirlingshire. She was coached by Karen Paterson, who was also a professional tennis player.

Playing Tennis: Jocelyn Rae's Career

Early Years in Junior Tennis (2006–2009)

Jocelyn Rae started playing on the ITF Junior Circuit in April 2006. She continued to compete as a junior player until July 2009. During these years, she was most successful in doubles matches.

She won one singles title at the 2006 Egypt International Championships. She also reached one semifinal and three quarterfinals in singles. In doubles, Jocelyn won three titles with different partners. She also reached one more final and three semifinals. One of these semifinals was at the 2008 Wimbledon girls' doubles. She played with Jade Curtis in that tournament.

Jocelyn finished her junior career with a good record. She won 21 matches and lost 18 in singles. In doubles, she won 26 matches and lost 14. Her highest junior ranking was world No. 167. She reached this ranking on 23 April 2007.

Professional Career Highlights (2014–2017)

In February 2014, Jocelyn Rae was chosen to join the British Fed Cup Team. This was a big step in her career. She joined the team after another player, Laura Robson, had to withdraw due to an injury.

In July of the same year, Jocelyn reached her first doubles final on the WTA Tour. This happened at the Swedish Open. She played with her partner, Anna Smith.

In April 2015, Jocelyn won a $50,000 tournament in Croissy-Beaubourg, France. She won this title with Anna Smith as her partner. In June 2015, she reached another WTA doubles final. This was at the Nottingham Open, but they finished as runners-up.

Jocelyn Rae decided to stop playing professional tennis in December 2017. She had a successful career, especially in doubles.

WTA Tour Doubles Finals

Jocelyn Rae reached four doubles finals on the WTA Tour. She finished as the runner-up in all four of these matches.

Fed Cup Team Matches

Jocelyn Rae played for the Great Britain Fed Cup team in doubles matches. She had a good record, winning 10 matches and losing 3. She played in the Fed Cup in 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. She helped her team win many important matches during these years.
