Joseph Michael Graceffa Jr. (born May 16, 1991) is an American YouTuber, actor, author, and producer. He manages four active YouTube channels, all named after him. His main channel focuses on vlogging, while another features video gaming content. He also has channels for daily vlogs and reaction videos. Together, his channels have over 2.9 billion views.
Joey Graceffa has appeared on The Amazing Race twice. He has also been in short films and created Escape the Night, a web series on YouTube Premium. He starred in all four seasons of Escape the Night with other YouTubers like Liza Koshy and Rosanna Pansino.

Early Life and School Days
Joey Graceffa was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts. His mother is Debbie O'Connor, and his father is Joseph Graceffa Sr. He has an older sister named Nicole and a younger half-brother named Jett, who has autism. Joey faced challenges growing up.
He finished high school at Marlborough High School in 2009. He wanted to study film at Emerson College but was not accepted. He then went to Fitchburg State College for a year before leaving.

Starting on YouTube and The Amazing Race
In 2007, when he was 16, Joey Graceffa began making videos. He started with a channel called WinterSpringPro with his friend Brittany Joyal. In 2009, he created his own channel, "Joey Graceffa."
By April 2022, his main YouTube channel had over 9.4 million subscribers and more than 2.1 billion views. His gaming channel has over 2.6 million subscribers and more than 620 million views. He also has many followers on Twitter and Instagram.
In 2013, Joey Graceffa and fellow YouTuber Meghan Camarena competed on The Amazing Race 22. They reached the tenth part of the race before being eliminated. They later returned for The Amazing Race: All-Stars.
Films, Books, and Other Projects (2013–2015)
In 2013 and 2014, Joey Graceffa starred in his web series called Storytellers. He raised money for this project through online campaigns.
He also starred in short films like Eon and Ethereal in 2014. From 2012 to 2014, he appeared in several BlackBoxTV short films. He was also part of the Fine Brothers online series MyMusic.
Joey Graceffa was nominated for two awards at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. He won "Best Male Actor in a Dramatic Web Series" at the 2014 Streamy Awards for his role in Storytellers. He was recognized as one of the "10 YouTube Stars Your Kids Love" by Common Sense Media.

On June 22, 2016, Graceffa launched Escape the Night, a mini-web series on YouTube Premium. He starred in and hosted the show with other YouTubers like Shane Dawson and Justine Ezarik. The first episode gained over 24 million views. He continued to host and star in new seasons of Escape the Night in 2017, 2018, and 2019, featuring many popular YouTubers.
On October 4, 2016, Joey Graceffa, with Laura L. Sullivan, released a young adult novel titled Children of Eden. The book is about a character named Rowen who lives in a world with strict population rules. This book also became a New York Times Best Seller.
On January 6, 2017, Graceffa announced he would have a small role in the movie The Space Between Us. The film, released in February 2017, is about a boy born on Mars who travels to Earth.
On May 16, 2017, Graceffa announced the sequel to his novel, titled Elites of Eden. This book continues the story with new characters and challenges in the world of Eden. The final book in the "Children of Eden" series, Rebels of Eden, was released on October 2, 2018.
