Guy James Robin (born on August 2, 1989), known as Jonas Blue, is an English DJ, music producer, and remixer. He is famous for his hit songs like "Fast Car", "Perfect Strangers", "Mama", "Rise", and "Polaroid".

Jonas Blue's Music Journey

Starting Out: 2015–2017

In 2015, Jonas Blue released his first song, a dance version of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car". This song featured vocals from Dakota. It quickly became a huge hit, reaching number two on the UK Singles Chart. This was even higher than the original song's peak!

"Fast Car" was also a number one hit in Germany, Sweden, Australia, and New Zealand. It was streamed over a billion times on Spotify. This showed how popular his music was becoming around the world.

In June 2016, he released "Perfect Strangers" with JP Cooper. This song also reached number two in the UK. It helped Jonas Blue reach one billion streams across all his songs and videos. Later in 2016, he released "By Your Side" with singer Raye, which reached number 15 in the UK.

In May 2017, Jonas Blue released "Mama" featuring Australian singer William Singe. This song hit number four on the UK Singles Chart. In July 2017, he put out a collection of songs called Jonas Blue: Electronic Nature - The Mix 2017.

His First Album: 2017–2019

Jonas Blue continued to release new music. In September 2017, he produced "Heartline" for Craig David. In October 2017, he released "We Could Go Back" with Moelogo.

The year 2018 was very busy for Jonas Blue. He released several popular songs:

  • "Hearts Ain't Gonna Lie" with Arlissa (January 2018)
  • "Alien" with Sabrina Carpenter (March 2018)
  • "Rise" featuring Jack & Jack (May 2018), which reached number three in the UK. He even made another version of "Rise" with the K-pop group IZ*ONE.
  • "I See Love" featuring Joe Jonas (June 2018), which was part of the Hotel Transylvania 3 movie soundtrack.
