Jonathan Adams (born July 16, 1967) is an American actor. You might know him as Chuck Larabee on the TV show Last Man Standing. He also played Henry Walker on American Dreams and Dr. Daniel Goodman on Bones.
Besides acting on screen, Adams is a talented voice actor. He has voiced famous comic book characters like Galactus and Kang the Conqueror from Marvel Comics. He also voiced Darkseid and Atrocitus from the DC Comics universe.

Early Life and Education
Jonathan Adams was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He grew up in the nearby town of Wilkinsburg. He went to Wilkinsburg High School and graduated in 1985.
After high school, he studied acting at the famous Carnegie Mellon University. He attended for a year and a half. He had to leave because he could no longer afford the school's tuition.
Acting Career
Adams has had a long and successful career in television, theater, and voice acting. He started his career on the stage before moving to TV and movies.
Theater Work
From 1996 to 2000, Adams performed at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. This is a major theater festival where actors perform in classic plays. He played many roles, including Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew and Buckingham in The Three Musketeers.
Television Roles
Adams is well-known for his roles in popular TV shows.
- American Dreams: From 2002 to 2005, he played Henry Walker in this NBC show about life in the 1960s.
- Bones: In the first season of the Fox series Bones, he played Dr. Daniel Goodman. His character was the boss of the main character, Temperance Brennan. Dr. Goodman left for a long break, called a sabbatical, and did not return to the show.
- Last Man Standing: Many people know him as Chuck Larabee, the neighbor of Tim Allen's character. He was a main character on the show from 2012 to 2021.
