Judy Simpson (born Judith Earline Veronica Livermore on November 14, 1960) is a famous British athlete. She was a top competitor in the heptathlon, a sport with seven different events. Judy also became well-known as Nightshade on the popular TV show Gladiators.

Judy Simpson grew up in Rugby, Warwickshire, England, after being born in Jamaica. She attended Harris School. Even from a young age, Judy showed great athletic ability.

Before becoming a track and field star, Judy was very skilled in Tae Kwan Do. She even became the English champion in this martial art. She was also part of the English national team.
