Känerkinden is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It's located in the canton of Basel-Country, specifically in the Sissach area. This charming place is nestled in the Jura Mountains, between two valleys.

History of Känerkinden

Känerkinden has a long history. It was first mentioned in official records way back in 1359. At that time, its name was spelled Kennichingen.
