The KFC Index is an economic index which compares the purchasing power of two currencies in African countries. It is related to the Big Mac Index, but the KFC Index is only about Africa. The Big Mac Index is about many countries in the world, but it can't be used for Africa. This is because there aren't many McDonald's in Africa.
