Kahuku (Hawaiian pronunciation: [kəˈhuku]) is a small town in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. It is known as a "census-designated place," which is a special area defined for gathering population data. Its name, ka huku, means "the projection" in the Hawaiian language. This likely refers to Kahuku Point, which is the northernmost tip of Oahu island. In 2020, about 2,852 people lived here.

Where is Kahuku?
Kahuku is located at 21°40′49″N 157°57′1″W / 21.68028°N 157.95028°W. This community is found northwest of Laie. It is also east of Kuilima and Kawela Bay. You can reach Kahuku by driving along Kamehameha Highway (Route 83).
The town covers a total area of about 2.3 square miles (5.97 square kilometers). A large part of this area, about 1.3 square miles (3.48 square kilometers), is water. This means the Pacific Ocean makes up more than half of Kahuku's total area.
