Kanorris Davis (born January 21, 1990) is a former American football player. He played as a safety and linebacker. Kanorris played for the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL). He also played college football for Troy University. Later, he was part of the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Kanorris Davis's Early Life and High School Football
Kanorris Davis grew up in Perry, Georgia. He went to Perry High School. He was a very talented football player there. He was chosen for the first-team all-district, all-area, and all-region teams three times.
High School Achievements
In his second year of high school, he was named to the second-team all-state team. He was also selected for both the North and South Classic All-State Teams. Kanorris was named to the all-state team twice. He was also named the region defensive player of the year twice during his high school career.
He set new school records for the most tackles in one season. He also set a record for the most sacks in a single year, with 9 sacks. By the end of his high school football career, he had an amazing 398 tackles, 24 sacks, and 8 forced fumbles.
Track and Field
Besides football, Kanorris also competed in track and field. In 2008, he was the Class 3A state runner-up in the 100 meters race. His best time was 10.84 seconds. In 2007, he was part of a 1600 relay team that qualified for the state competition.
College Football Career
Kanorris Davis played college football as a linebacker for Troy University. He showed great skill during his time there. In 2011, he was recognized as an All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention player. This means he was one of the top players in the Sun Belt Conference.
Professional Football Career
After college, Kanorris Davis continued his football journey in professional leagues. He played for teams in both the NFL and the CFL.
Playing for the New England Patriots
On May 3, 2013, Kanorris Davis signed with the New England Patriots. He joined them as an undrafted free agent. This means he was not chosen in the NFL draft but was still signed by a team. On September 1, 2013, he was added to the Patriots' practice squad.
He was released from the practice squad on September 30. However, he was re-signed to the Patriots practice squad on October 2. He played as a defensive back for the team.
Time with the Toronto Argonauts
On February 8, 2016, Davis signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was set to play as a linebacker for them. Unfortunately, he suffered a serious knee injury during practice on May 31, 2016. This injury meant he could not play for the rest of the 2016 CFL season. He was released by the team on June 5, 2016.
