Early Life and School
Katie Lee grew up in Milton, West Virginia. She loved food from a young age. She went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she studied journalism and food science. She graduated in 2003. During her time at college, she also spent a semester studying in Florence, Italy. This experience helped her learn even more about different foods and cultures.
