Keion Adams (born June 8, 1995) is an American professional football player. He plays as a defensive lineman, which means he tries to stop the other team's offense. He played college football at Western Michigan University. Later, he was chosen by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2017 NFL draft.

Playing Professional Football
Keion Adams started his professional football journey after college. He was picked by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2017 NFL draft. The draft is where professional teams choose new players from colleges. Keion was one of three players from Western Michigan chosen that year, which was a record for his school!
Time with the Steelers
After being drafted, Keion signed a contract with the Steelers. In August 2017, he got a shoulder injury. Because of this, he was placed on "injured reserve." This means he couldn't play in games while he recovered.
In 2018, the Steelers decided to let him go. However, they signed him to their "practice squad" the next day. Players on the practice squad train with the team but usually don't play in games. He signed another contract with the Steelers in January 2019 but was released a few months later.
Joining the New York Giants
In June 2019, Keion Adams signed with the New York Giants. Unfortunately, he was injured again and placed on their injured reserve list. He was later released from the Giants in October 2019.
Playing in the CFL
After playing in the NFL, Keion Adams moved to the Canadian Football League (CFL). He signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in December 2020. He played in 16 games for them in 2021 and 2022. During this time, he made 27 tackles and had four sacks. A sack is when a defensive player tackles the opposing team's quarterback.
In August 2022, he was moved to the practice roster. He was then released by the Roughriders in September 2022.
With the Winnipeg Blue Bombers
On September 28, 2022, Keion signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, another CFL team. Around the time he joined the team, he learned that two of his cousins had passed away in a car accident. This was a very sad time for him. Keion Adams became a free agent in February 2023.
