Kenneth Moore II (born August 23, 1995) is an American professional football player. He plays as a cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Valdosta State Blazers. In 2017, he signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent.

Early Life and Sports

Kenny Moore II grew up in Valdosta, Georgia. He didn't start playing football until his last year at Lowndes High School. In 2012, he made 18 tackles and caught two interceptions. His team had a great season, winning 9 games and losing only 2. They even made it to the GHSA Class AAAAAA Playoffs. Besides football, Kenny also played soccer, basketball, and ran track in high school.

College Football Journey

Kenny Moore played college football for the Valdosta State Blazers from 2013 to 2016. He started as a cornerback but switched to safety in his final year.

  • 2013: He played in 10 games and made 12 solo tackles. He also had one interception.
  • 2014: Kenny played in all 13 games. He recorded 26 solo tackles, two interceptions, and forced one fumble.
  • 2015: He played in 12 games, making 34 solo tackles and three interceptions. Two of these interceptions were returned for touchdowns! He earned several awards, including First-team All-Gulf South Conference (GSC).
  • 2016: In his last college season, he played in 11 games. He had 45 solo tackles and five interceptions. He received more awards, including First-team All-American honors.

Kenny's 11 career interceptions placed him fifth all-time in his school's history. He studied mass media at Valdosta State. In January 2017, he played in the Tropical Bowl, which is a special game for college football stars.

Starting with the Patriots

In 2017, the New England Patriots signed Kenny Moore. He was an undrafted free agent, meaning no team picked him in the NFL Draft. He worked hard during training camp. However, the Patriots decided to let him go before the regular season started.
