Kenny Shedd was born on Valentine's Day in 1971. He grew up in Davenport, Iowa. He went to West High School there. After high school, he played college football at the University of Northern Iowa. He was a talented player for the Northern Iowa Panthers.
Playing in the NFL
In 1993, Kenny Shedd was chosen in the fifth round of the 1993 NFL draft. The New York Jets picked him as the 129th player overall. He played for the Jets for two seasons. Later, he also played for the Chicago Bears.
In 1996, Kenny Shedd played for the Barcelona Dragons. This team was part of the World League of American Football. After that, he returned to the NFL. He joined the Oakland Raiders and played for them until 1999. His last NFL team was the Washington Redskins in 2000.
