Kendrick Dwayne Shedd, known as Kenny Shedd, is a former American football player. He was born on February 14, 1971. Kenny played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). A wide receiver is a player who runs routes and catches passes from the quarterback. He played for teams like the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders. After his football career, Kenny became a police officer.

Kenny Shedd's Football Career

Kenny Shedd started his journey in football playing for the University of Northern Iowa. He played college football there before joining the professional leagues. In 1993, the New York Jets picked him in the fifth round of the 1993 NFL draft. This meant he was chosen to join their team.

Playing in the NFL

After playing for the Jets from 1993 to 1994, Kenny also played for the Chicago Bears in 1994. He then joined the Oakland Raiders from 1996 to 1999. His last NFL team was the Washington Redskins in 2000. During his time in the NFL, he caught 16 passes for 252 yards. He also scored one touchdown.

Playing in Europe

In 1996, Kenny Shedd also played for the Barcelona Dragons. This team was part of the World League of American Football. This league allowed players to compete internationally.
