Ki Ki is a small town located in South Australia. It sits right next to the Dukes Highway and the Adelaide-Melbourne railway, which are important routes connecting Adelaide and Melbourne. This town is the main community in an area historically known as the Hundred of Livingston.

Ki Ki's Story

Ki Ki officially became a town on 12 June 1913. Its name comes from the Kik Ki Well. This well was named using an Aboriginal word for the worms found in a nearby natural water source called a soakage.

Today, Ki Ki has a small post office and a town hall. There's also an engineering business called "Ki Ki Engineering." The town is surrounded by large pastoral properties, which are big areas of land used for farming animals. In 2006, about 193 people lived in Ki Ki. The town's postcode is 5261.

Community and Sports

Years ago, Ki Ki had a Congregational Church. It was built in 1910 but closed its doors in 1969.

Ki Ki is also home to an active tennis club. This club is part of the Border-Downs Tennis Association, where local teams play against each other.
