Journey of Killer Creek
Killer Creek starts its journey from a lake that doesn't have a name. This starting point is quite high up, about 344 metres (1,129 ft) above sea level. From there, the creek flows towards the southwest.
Flowing to Killer Lake
As it travels southwest, Killer Creek reaches another body of water called Killer Lake. At this point, the creek is at an elevation of about 328 metres (1,076 ft).
Path to Skootamatta Lake
After leaving Killer Lake, the creek generally turns south. It continues its flow until it reaches its final destination: the western part of Skootamatta Lake. This lake is part of the Skootamatta River system. The elevation at the mouth of Killer Creek is about 289 metres (948 ft).
Connecting to Lake Ontario
The water from Skootamatta Lake flows into the Skootamatta River. This river then joins the Moira River. Finally, the Moira River empties into the Bay of Quinte, which is a bay on Lake Ontario near the city of Belleville. This means Killer Creek's water eventually makes its way to one of the Great Lakes!
