Kimberly is a small, unincorporated community located in Aitkin County, Minnesota, United States. An unincorporated community is a place where people live that doesn't have its own official local government like a city or town. It's part of Kimberly Township.
The community is found along Aitkin County Road 5, which is also known as Nature Avenue. It's close to where this road meets County Road 56 (380th Street). History
Kimberly once had its own post office. It operated for many years, from 1879 until 1974. The community was named after a person called Moses C. Kimberly. He was an important official who worked for the Northern Pacific Railway, which was a big railroad company.
