Kimberly Hébert Gregory was born on December 7, 1972, in Houston, Texas. She was the youngest of three children. She went to The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, where she studied acting.
After high school, she continued her education at Mount Holyoke College, earning a degree in Psychology. She also received a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. She even spent some time studying acting at DePaul University. Kimberly has a son with her former husband, Chester Gregory.
Her Acting Career
Kimberly Hébert Gregory began her career performing in plays with various theatre companies in Chicago during the late 1990s. Her talent was recognized early on, and she was even nominated for a special award called the Joseph Jefferson Award for her acting in a play called Shakin' the Mess Outta Misery. Later, in 2012, she received another nomination, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play, for her role in By The Way, Meet Vera Stark.
