Kimberly Rochelle Hébert Gregory (born Kimberly Rochelle Hébert) was an American actress. She was known for bringing many characters to life on stage, television, and in movies. She started her career in theater, performing in plays like The Brother/Sister Plays. Later, she became widely recognized for her role as Dr. Belinda Brown in the HBO comedy series Vice Principals starting in 2016. She also lent her voice to the character Nicole Williams in the animated show Craig of the Creek.

Early Life and Education
Kimberly Hébert was born on December 7, 1972, in Houston, Texas. She was the youngest of three children. She attended The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston. After high school, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Mount Holyoke College in 1994. She also studied acting at The Theatre School at DePaul University and later received a master's degree in social work from the University of Chicago in 2002.
A Career in Theater
Kimberly Hébert Gregory often said that theater acting was her first love. She started her career on stage, performing in many plays in Chicago during the late 1990s. Some of her early roles included Train is Comin' in 1996 and A Red Death in 1997.
For her role as "Daughter" in Shakin' the Mess Outta Misery, she won a Black Theatre Alliance Award. She was also nominated for a 1998 Equity Branch Jeff Award. She continued to perform in important plays like James Baldwin's The Amen Corner and Moliére's Scapin in the early 2000s.
In 2006, Hébert Gregory was chosen to be part of the Sundance Institute Theatre Laboratory. This program helps artists develop new works. She appeared in several other plays, including The Breach in 2008 and Gee's Bend in 2010. She also played Charmian in Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra in 2010.
