The Story of Kingdom Hearts

Sora and his friends, Riku and Kairi, live on Destiny Islands. They plan to leave their home to explore new places. But their plans are stopped when scary monsters called the Heartless attack their world. These Heartless steal people's hearts.

During the attack, Sora finds a special weapon called a Keyblade. His world is destroyed, and Sora, Riku, and Kairi are sent to different worlds. Sora teams up with Donald Duck and Goofy. Together, they search for Sora's lost friends. They travel to many worlds based on popular Disney movies. These include Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Sora soon learns that Riku has joined the side of darkness. Riku has also taken Kairi. A powerful Heartless named Ansem has taken over Riku. Ansem wants to capture seven special Princesses of Heart. He believes this will help him open Kingdom Hearts, which is the heart of all worlds.

Sora bravely rescues Kairi and Riku. He then defeats Ansem. Kairi returns safely to Destiny Islands. But Riku decides to stay in Kingdom Hearts with King Mickey to protect it. After this, Kingdom Hearts disappears. Sora tells Kairi he will not go home until he finds Riku. He then leaves with Donald and Goofy to begin a new adventure.
