Kiril Petrov Domuschiev (born April 18, 1969) is a successful businessman from Bulgaria. He owns many companies and is also known for owning the football team PFC Ludogorets Razgrad.

He has been made an honorary citizen of Razgrad, a city in Bulgaria. In 2019, he also became an honorary citizen of Nebraska, a state in the USA.

About Kiril Domuschiev

Kiril Petrov Domuschiev was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, on April 18, 1969. He is married and has three children. He went to a French language school in Sofia. Later, he earned a master's degree in Industrial Management and Marketing from the Technical University, Sofia.

After 1990, Kiril and his brother Georgi Domuschiev started several companies. They made and sold things like clothes and shoes.

Starting Businesses

In 1996, Kiril Domuschiev created a company called Napredak Holding AD. This company helped him buy parts of other businesses in Bulgaria. These businesses were in different industries. One of them was Balkan AD, which made bicycles and forklift trucks. His mother, Margarita Domuschieva, was a director there for many years.

In 1999, Kiril Domuschiev started his own business in the medicine field. He created Huvepharma EOOD. In 2000, this company bought Biovet AD. Biovet owned a factory in Peshtera, Bulgaria, that made products for animals.

Over time, Huvepharma EOOD grew a lot. It became a global company that makes and sells medicines for both people and animals. Huvepharma now has factories in Bulgaria, the United States, France, and Italy. It is one of the top 10 global companies in animal medicine.

Advance Properties

In 2003, Kiril and Georgi Domuschiev started Advance Properties OOD. They each owned half of this company. Advance Properties is a holding company. This means it owns parts of many other companies. The Domuschiev brothers use it for most of their investments.

The main companies under Advance Properties OOD work in different areas. These include medicines, shipping, port operations, construction, and media.

In 2008, Advance Properties OOD bought 70% of Navigation Maritime Bulgare AD. This is a very old shipping company. Advance Properties OOD also fully owns BMF Port Burgas EAD. This company manages parts of the port of Burgas. The port of Burgas is very important for Bulgaria. It is one of the biggest ports in the Black Sea region.

Football and Charity

In 2010, Kiril Domuschiev started investing in a football team. This team is PFC Ludogorets 1945 EAD from Razgrad, Bulgaria. The team moved up to the top football league in Bulgaria. They then became Bulgarian football champions for nine years in a row.

The team also played in big European competitions. They played in the UEFA Champions League in 2014/15 and 2016/17. They also played in the UEFA Europa League several times.

In 2011, Kiril Domuschiev and his wife, Kremena Domuschieva, started a charity foundation. It is called the Kremena and Kiril Domuschiev Foundation. This foundation helps children's hospitals. It also supports institutions for children who do not have parents.

Media and More Investments

In April 2019, Advance Properties bought Nova Broadcasting Group. This is the largest media group in Bulgaria. It includes 7 TV channels, like Nova Television. It also has a radio station, newspapers, and a film company.

Nova Broadcasting Group also owns many online platforms. These include the email service Abv.bg and news websites like Nova.bg and Vesti.bg. It reaches about 75% of all internet users in Bulgaria.

In January 2021, Advance Media Group sold Nova Broadcasting Group. Under Advance Media Group, Nova Broadcasting Group grew even more. It had 10 TV channels and 4 radio stations. Its online platform reached up to 80% of Bulgarian internet users.

On June 19, 2019, Kiril Domuschiev received an honorary citizenship from the US state of Nebraska. This was for his investments and for creating jobs there. He is the biggest Bulgarian investor in Nebraska and in the USA. He has factories in 5 American states.

In January 2020, Kiril Domuschiev received the "Winner's Wreath" award. This is the highest state honor in sports in Bulgaria. It is given to people who have greatly helped Bulgarian sports.

In November 2021, the magazine Forbes wrote about Kiril and Georgi Domuschiev. It estimated their wealth at $4.2 billion. Forbes said their success comes from their businesses in Bulgaria, the United States, Belgium, and other countries. They are the Bulgarians with the largest investments in the United States.

In December 2022, Huvepharma was featured in the Fortune Global 500 ranking. The article highlighted the company's efforts to protect the environment. It mentioned their energy-saving methods and green technologies.

Kiril Domuschiev also became a member of the Clinton Global Initiative Advisory Board. He joined this board after being invited by President Clinton to a climate forum in late 2022.
