Kiyoshi Tomizawa (富沢 清司, Tomizawa Kiyoshi, born December 3, 1943) is a famous former Japanese football player. He was a midfielder and defender. He played for the Japan national team.

Playing for Clubs
Tomizawa was born in Fujieda, Japan, on December 3, 1943. After finishing high school, he joined a football club called Yawata Steel. This club later changed its name to Nippon Steel.
Joining the Japan Soccer League
In 1965, Yawata Steel became part of a new league called the Japan Soccer League. Tomizawa played for his club until 1976. During his time in the league, he played in 164 games. He also scored 22 goals for his team.
Playing for Japan's National Team
Kiyoshi Tomizawa was chosen to play for the Japan national team in October 1964. This was for the 1964 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo. However, he did not get to play in any games at those Olympics.
First Game and Olympic Success
On March 14, 1965, Tomizawa played his first game for Japan. It was against the Hong Kong team. In 1968, he was again selected for the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. This time, he played in the semifinal match against Hungary. Japan won this game and earned a Bronze Medal!
Hall of Fame and Final Games
In 2018, the team that won the Bronze Medal in 1968 was honored. They were chosen for the Japan Football Hall of Fame. Tomizawa also played in the 1970 Asian Games. His last game for Japan was in 1971. This was during the qualification matches for the 1972 Summer Olympics. Japan did not qualify for those Olympics. Overall, he played 9 games for Japan and scored 2 goals.
