Kringle is an exciting American children's novel written by Tony Abbott. This book tells a unique story about the beginnings of Kris Kringle, who you might know better as Santa Claus. It's a fantasy adventure that was first released in 2005.
The Story of Kringle
This book offers a fresh take on the classic Santa Claus legend. Kringle is a coming-of-age story, which means it's about a young person growing up and learning important lessons. In this tale, Kringle starts as an orphan boy who becomes a powerful force for good in a difficult world.
The story is full of fantasy elements, including scary goblins, helpful elves, and even flying reindeer! It begins way back in the year 500 A.D. At that time, evil goblins would kidnap human children and force them to work in dark underground mines. Kringle was one of these children.
But Kringle soon discovers his special mission: to free all the enslaved children. His brave actions create a legend that lives on even today. Every Christmas Eve, Kringle travels the world to keep the goblins from causing trouble again.
Movie Plans
In 2007, a big movie company called Paramount Pictures bought the rights to make Kringle into a film. The idea for the movie came from director Mark Dindal, who also wrote the script with Jason Richman. Lorenzo di Bonaventura was set to produce the movie, and Dindal would direct it. However, as of September 2017, there haven't been any new updates about the movie's production. So, it seems the film hasn't been made yet.
