Where is La Rose?
La Rose is found in the southeastern part of Marshall County. It's located at 40.9810 degrees north and -89.2362 degrees west. A road called Illinois Route 89 goes right through the village. This road is known as Main Street. If you go north on Route 89 for about 4 miles (6.4 km), you'll reach Varna. If you head southwest for about 5 miles (8 km), you'll find Washburn.
The village covers a total area of about 0.25 square miles (0.65 square kilometers). All of this area is land. A small stream called the North Branch of Crow Creek flows near the southern edge of the village. This creek eventually leads to the Illinois River.
