Ladson is found in the southwestern part of Berkeley County. It also stretches into northern Charleston County and southeastern Dorchester County. You can find its exact spot using these coordinates: 33°0′34″N 80°6′20″W / 33.00944°N 80.10556°W.
Ladson is surrounded by other towns and cities. To its southwest is Summerville. To the south, you'll find North Charleston. The city of Goose Creek is to the east. And to the northwest is another community called Sangaree.
Two main roads, U.S. Route 78 and Interstate 26, run through Ladson. If you're driving on Interstate 26, you can get to Ladson using Exit 203. From Ladson, it's about 20 miles (32 kilometers) southeast to downtown Charleston. If you head northwest, you'll reach Columbia, the state capital, which is about 97 miles (156 kilometers) away.
