Lake McQueeney is a special lake in Guadalupe County, Texas, United States. It's not a natural lake, but a reservoir, which means it was made by building a dam across the Guadalupe River. This lake is about 5 miles (8 km) west of Seguin.

It was created in 1928 to help make electricity using the power of flowing water. The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority has managed the dam and the lake since 1963.

A unique part of Lake McQueeney is Treasure Island. This island has many homes and has faced big floods in the past. The lake is usually about 10 feet (3 m) deep. Some parts, especially in the old river channel, are deeper.

Lake McQueeney is a popular spot for fun outdoor activities. People enjoy fishing, boating, and swimming here. The lake's water level stays the same all year. In 2019, there were plans to lower the water level of Lake McQueeney and other lakes. This was because some of the older dams needed repairs.

Lake McQueeney is home to many kinds of fish. These fish were put into the lake to make fishing better for everyone.
