History of Lake Shore
Lake Shore officially became a city on March 19, 1947. Before that, it was known as a village.
Geography and Location
Lake Shore covers an area of about 18.15 square miles (46.99 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, about 12.70 square miles (32.89 square kilometers). The rest, about 5.45 square miles (14.11 square kilometers), is water.
Several main roads run through the community. These include County Roads 29, 77, 78, and 107. These roads help people travel around the city and connect to other places.
