Lakeside Park is a city in Kenton County, Kentucky, United States. It is a "home rule-class city," which means it has the power to manage its own local government. In 2020, about 2,841 people lived there. Lakeside Park is a suburb of the larger Cincinnati metropolitan area.

History of Lakeside Park
The land where Lakeside Park now stands was once part of a large farm. This farm belonged to a person named John Leathers.
Early Days and the Civil War
During the American Civil War, an important road called the Covington and Lexington Turnpike ran through this area. Forts were built along this road to protect it.
Becoming a City
Lakeside Park officially became a city in 1930. A local leader named Paul Hesser helped make this happen. He also encouraged the building of the first neighborhoods. The city was carefully placed next to the Covington and Lexington Turnpike. This helped prevent it from being taken over by the nearby city of Fort Mitchell.
