Le Flon is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is located in the Veveyse district. This district is part of the canton of Fribourg. Le Flon was created in 2004. It was formed when three smaller places joined together: Bouloz, Pont (Veveyse), and Porsel.

Geography of Le Flon
Le Flon covers an area of about 9.54 square kilometers (about 3.68 square miles). Most of this land, about 73.5%, is used for farming. This includes fields for crops and pastures for animals. Forests cover about 19.9% of the area.
About 5.5% of Le Flon is built up with buildings and roads. A very small part, 0.1%, is made up of rivers or lakes. The remaining 0.5% is land that cannot be used for farming or building.
People and Population
Le Flon has a population of 1,223 people (as of December 2020). In 2008, about 6.6% of the people living there were from other countries. Over ten years, from 2000 to 2010, the population grew by 26.2%. Most of this growth was from people moving into Le Flon.

In 2000, most people in Le Flon spoke French as their main language (95.3%). German was the second most common language (2.4%). Portuguese was the third (0.8%).
