Leah Hackett is an English actress born on August 15, 1985. She is most famous for playing Tina Reilly in the TV show Hollyoaks.

Early life and education

Leah Hackett was born in Bolton, England. As a teenager, she worked at Tyldesley Library.

She went to Tyldesley Primary School and then Fred Longworth High School. Later, she studied at Winstanley College. Leah then earned a spot at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. This is a famous school for actors and performers. She also appeared in a music video for the song Maniac by Reemer.

Personal life

Leah became a mother in 2020. She gave birth to her daughter, Skylar, on April 3, 2020.

Leah also owns a clothing rental shop called The Closet in Liverpool. She runs it with her Hollyoaks co-stars, Jennifer Metcalfe and Claire Cooper.

Acting career

Leah Hackett is well-known for her role as Tina Reilly in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. She played the character for over two years, from August 2006 to October 2008. Her character was written out of the show in 2008. Leah returned for one special episode in November 2014.

In December 2007, Leah appeared in the Liverpool Nativity play. She played a shepherdess. In July 2008, she helped launch a new portable printer for Polaroid. She also made videos to promote the Year of Food and Farming. In these videos, she showed how to milk a cow, shear sheep, collect eggs, and make ice cream.

Leah also performed in a pantomime called Dick Whittington at the Buxton Opera House. She played the character Alice Witzwarren. She has also appeared in other TV shows, including Doctors.

• In November 2010, she was in a musical drama called Pub. This play was shown at the Royal Exchange in Manchester.
• From June to July 2013, she performed in Manchester - The Massacre. This was a special play that combined history from the Peterloo Massacre of 1819 with the music scene of 1989.
