Leonidas is a small city located in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, in the United States. In 2020, about 50 people lived there, according to the 2020 census.
The main roads that help people get around Leonidas include Saint Louis County Roads 101 and 755, along with 1st Street and 13th Avenue West. Leonidas is situated right next to the city of Eveleth, just to its west.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Leonidas covers a total area of about 1.44 square miles (3.73 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 1.28 square miles (3.32 square kilometers), is land. The remaining part, about 0.16 square miles (0.41 square kilometers), is water.
Leonidas is also very close to a neighborhood called West Eveleth.

What the 2010 Census Showed
The census taken in 2010 counted 52 people living in Leonidas. These people lived in 24 different homes, and 13 of these were families. The city had about 40.6 people per square mile (15.7 people per square kilometer). There were 27 housing units, meaning places where people could live, with an average of 21.1 units per square mile (8.1 units per square kilometer).
Most of the people in Leonidas were White (96.2%). A small number were Native American (1.9%), and 1.9% were from two or more racial backgrounds.
Of the 24 homes, about a quarter (25.0%) had children under 18 living there. Half of the homes (50.0%) were married couples living together. A small number (4.2%) had a female head of household with no husband present. Almost half (45.8%) were not families. About 37.5% of all homes had just one person living there, and 8.3% had someone aged 65 or older living alone. On average, there were 2.17 people in each home, and 2.92 people in each family.
