Liam Henry (born 28 August 2001) is an exciting Australian rules football player. He currently plays for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Before joining St Kilda, he played for the Fremantle Football Club.

Early Life and School Days
Liam Henry was born in Tammin. This town is about 180 kilometers east of Perth. He also lived in Port Lincoln, South Australia and Fitzroy Crossing. Fitzroy Crossing is in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. He later returned to Tammin for primary school.
Liam then went to Christ Church Grammar School. He lived at the school as a boarder. While there, he started a small business with two friends. They sold neckties that had Indigenous patterns. One of his business partners, Isaiah Butters, also became an AFL player. Liam's father is from the Wajuk people. His mother is Walmadjari from the Kimberley region.
AFL Career Journey
Playing for Fremantle (2020–2023)
Liam Henry was part of Fremantle's Next Generation Academy. This program helps young players develop their skills. He was chosen as the 9th pick in the 2019 national draft. Fremantle picked him after another club, Carlton, tried to draft him.
The 2020 AFL season was put on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, Liam went back to his parents' home in Derby, Western Australia. He made his first AFL appearance for Fremantle in round 13 of the 2020 season. This game was special as it was the Sir Douglas Nicholls Indigenous Round. Fremantle played against Sydney.
Liam started his career as a forward player. In 2022, he changed his playing position to a wingman. In Round 13 of the 2023 AFL season, Liam played a fantastic game. He had been in and out of the main team. He gathered 32 disposals, which was a personal best for him. He helped Fremantle win by 32 points against Essendon. He continued his great form in the next game. He had 33 disposals against the Western Bulldogs. This was another new career high for him.
Joining St Kilda (2024–Present)
After the 2023 season, Liam Henry asked to move to a new club. He was traded to St Kilda on 16 October 2023. He now plays for the St Kilda Football Club.
